Applied Ecology
Learners will establish a sound foundation in the various aspects of mountain ecology, enabling them to proactively confront the significant issues of our time. Members of this school will familiarize themselves with the flora and fauna of the mountains and play a pivotal role in their conservation and propagation. The school will focus on understanding and evolving practical and sustainable solutions specific to the mountain eco-system, thus creating a replicable model for the management of high altitude arid valleys reeling under adverse impacts of climate change and related natural disasters.
