Solar Housing Conference for a Carbon Neutral Ladakh

Ladakh has a rich history of four decades of experience in Passive Solar Heated Housing. Among several international and local NGOs that drove this movement are LEDeG and SECMOL and now HIAL.

About the Conference

On 6th and 7th August 2022, LEDeG, SECMOL and HIAL invite you to discover our research findings that showcase the extent and possibilities of innovation for Ladakhi winters using pure sunlight; eliminating fossil fuels, emissions and pollution. The only way to realise the Prime Minister’s vision of a Carbon Neutral Ladakh. The conference will host an internationally renowned community of researchers, representatives of non-profit foundations, governmental organisations, and other stakeholders to discuss topics such as formulation of PSH friendly by-laws, financial incentives for PSH promotion, and more.
